1 eating apple, peeled, cored and cut into chunks

50g pecans, roughly chopped

100ml double cream

300ml custard

2 eggs

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg or mixed spice

2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (for glazing)
